Taste is very important in doing the interior design. People have different tastes. This also applies to children. Some children might even change their tastes as they grow up. This is very important to observe. You might need to design your child’s room every ten years, depending on your child.

Colors also play a very important role in design. The best color combinations are complimentary colors. Complimentary colors are colors that are opposite to each other on the color wheel. The color wheel is used in art schools and classes to teach about colors. For example, red and green, blue and orange or yellow and purple are perfect examples of complimentary colors.

Millions of people throughout the world spend 8 hours per day, or more, working in an office, something which, as a species, we aren’t particularly designed to do, with a constant need to entertain ourselves, learn new things, and stretch the boundaries of knowledge, sitting at a desk isn’t a particularly fulfilling way to pass the day.

We all know what its like when you lose concentration or any motivation to work – distractions become more and more common, you fidget, look for pretty much any excuse to not do the work you should be doing, which in turn means it doesn’t get done, and you fall behind. Now, whilst a ‘Walmart’ employee playing a quick game of ‘Angry Birds’ or sending some sneaky text messages when they should be working might not signal the end of the world for a huge multinational company like that, if you, or your staff are consistently spending the afternoons doing anything possible to avoid work due to a lack of motivation, then your company could hit real trouble, productivity slips, you miss out on a lucrative business deal, and ultimately lose money.

Living in such tough economic times, losing money is something which many small businesses just simply cannot afford, so such a scenario as mentioned above has to be avoided at all costs, and the only way in doing so is to ensure that you provide a stylish, comfortable, stimulating working environment for both yourself and everyone else around you.

Leaning art on the wall

The wall isn’t the only place where you can display art. You can simply place the picture on the floor and lean it on the wall or furniture. Try placing two art pieces of different sizes, one leaning over the other, partially covering the other one but still leaving most of the art visible.
